Damn, girl, you made me cry.

Sandy looked around the room, and around the house, and found no trace of the son he’d loved for the last three years. There was almost no evidence that Ryan had ever been there at all.
This is about the saddest thought ever.

I like this introspection very much. I wondered if the 'someone' would choose to incorporate all 3 sentences and you have done so beautifully.
