Well, I have everything ready for Christmas. Except I need to make more cookies. Definitely more ginger cookies. I may be busy for New Year's (got asked today if I would be able to cater a small party for the guys who own the antique mall I like to visit). I may be just me, but Snook from It's a Big, Big World reminds me of a few "stoners" and "skaters" from high school.

Hubby thought it would be great idea to try and get his truck out. Mind you this is a shortbed chevy silverado without 4x4 capabilities. It is currently stuck in the road at the end of our driveway. I am stuck in the house today with all of my wonderful family. We have 14 inches of snow on the ground. As of 10 last night we only had an inch. I love it. I know that I have the day off and the town I live in is completely shut down. Even the banks are closed for the day. I got up and took some pictures.

I was watching the local news this morning and I just adore one of the new people on there. She is either from Australia or New Zealand but her accent and speech is just so wonderful to listen to. I can actually bear to watch the news again. Gotta love living in a University town where they switch the news anchor people all the time.
