Sad, sad day
Well Ophelia (my furbaby) passed away this morning. It is cloudy and dreary outside. Very fitting for the way I feel. My hubby thought about taking a personal day but didn't think his boss would go for grieving over a cat as a good excuse. Weekend update
Well, Friday night went off with out a hitch. All told there were 10 giggly teenish girls here at one point only 6 stayed all night. Oldest managed to snag some gift cards, a cool set of accent shelves and the new Charlie and the Chocolate factory movie. Well, the trip to the lake was fun. Turns out no matter how much sunblock I use, I am still going to burn. I have an allergy to the sun. Yes, folks you read that right. I now get to be the person you see at the beach in the big floppy hat, with long sleeves and pants sitting under a big umbrella. No sun for me. Gotta love it. -
Weekend
Well, we are getting ready to go to Pirate's Cove ( a swimming lake). I am so ready for a day of just fun. We are having to stop off and pick up some really strong sunblock for me. Tavern and Grill
Don't really have much to say, just been thinking of a few things. Trying to get affairs in order so that maybe within the next year or so I might be able to open up the Irish Tavern and Grill that I have always dreamed of opening. Finally
Today is a good day. The youngest child is officially potty trained. At 3 yrs 3mths old. Yay. She likes being a big girl. I haven't bought pullups in almost a month. She has done so well. Finally getting some time with which to update. Had a really disappointing turn out on Wednesday to the house concert. No one showed up. I was very embarrassed and sorry. We did get to have an enjoyable evening. We talked for a while, The Bards played a little bit. We really didn't expect them to since no one showed up. It was really neat though. ( Read more... )
