Jack Layton is my new hero

I can't believe I'm actually posting something positive about politics! I just finished seeing Jack Layton speak at Laurier and I have to say I was really truly impressed.

I've always voted NDP, although I often end up waffling at election time because I find some aspects of the Green Party attractive and I've occasionally gotten mad at the NDP

He's a nice guy in person too! The current member for Kitchener Centre is another prof, but a bit of a dolt. Not sure who's in for Waterloo. It can be a fun party to join, but chronically dis-organized ... be warned ... I know how you are with taking charge of things!
