Oh Erin, a perfect ending. Groves and James dancing, Gilette fuming, and Jack *happy sigh* chasing away the nasty Spanish. And, to cap it all, Masefield.

The celebration was beautifully done. Hell, it all was. Kudos, my dear. You done good; more than good.

I just started this yesterday, and I really think that this is the best piece of fanfic I have ever read. Your characterizations are spot on, your fight scenes are thrilling and the ending made me sigh. You're amazing!

That was wonderful, Erin. It's a shame that there aren't POTC novels, because that would make a great one. As a matter of fact the POTC PTB could save themselves a bunch of time and work and just film that for POTC II ;-)

An excellent story! The characturizations (I can't spell to save my life suddenly) are brilliant. Norrington giving in and going dancing instead of trying to stop the Pearl's crew was great - that truly fit with the way he seems to be willing to bend the rules on occasion when it's warrented. Marvelous job!
