Shock and amazement! I've been visited by a Pirate muse or three, and have a wee bit of something to share. For your reading pleasure, I present a vignette and a ... erm, double-drabble thingie. :-)
Would it be too greedy of me to consider these an inadvertent B-day present? ;) I hit 38 over the weekend, and I come back to LJ and find these!!! Also found a wonderful Will and Norrington chess game drabble - I'm bouncing around here at work like a total loon now. :) I'm wondering what else I might find, I've got so many things to catch up on on LJ!
Wonderful work here Erin!! You have absolutely captured Will and Elizabeth. Bravo!! :) And just because this is the way my brain works, may I add that I love that the name of the man who insults Will is Thistlewaite. To me, that is the perfect name for someone full of pomposity, self-importance, and not just a bit of conceit and snobbery. I could really see him blustering to Will, just as I could feel Will controlling his own temper in the man's presence. Well done!! :)
