looks like i'm going to have to make a move at some point soon. my prof is most likely leaving seattle to go to new jersey to accept a much better job, and that leaves me in a sort of funny limbo. i hate being in this state again. oh well.

well, things are going ok. not making as much progress as i would like. i seem to be doing a lot of work and not getting very far. ugh. at least i managed to find an old outdated manual for a piece of equipment that no one in the lab knows how to use. whee.
