So. Last weekend. Not only did I get to go to Wine & Jazz with some cool kids from my high school (behold the weirdness that is Charleston), I got to see some live jazz at Sam's (great), Wine & Jazz (surprisingly just okay), and Capitol City Roasters (freaking *phenomenal*); get tipsy on port wine; get complimented by girls who either thought ( Read more... )

wow, i don't think i've run into that many gw people since graduation! and i'm also so not surprised jonah's getting a phd in astrophysics. i used to have the hugest crush on him. ah, the good old days.

Nor am I. Landon's getting his Ph.D. in... some field of engineering, which is impressive but equally unsurprising.

I think I was most excited/shocked to realize how much I had in common with Justin Cottril (who I talked with til past dawn). *That* was even more unexpected than being invited to a skiing/drinking New Year's with Landon, Lee Turley, Chris Tanzey, and whomever else usually goes. I certainly never saw *those* coming back when I was still in high school.

It would have been cool to see you there. As it was, I hung out with Chris Tanzey, Lee Turley, Landon Kanner, and Landon's younger brother Daniel. And I saw so many people I can't even name them all (not that I can still remember all their names): Ashley Reynolds, Craig Augie (spelling?), Fred Martin...
