Zachary is getting braces this month. I guess it was time. Six months for the top and six months for the bottom. I never wanted braces when I was a kid, I guess it was my resentment about the lack of control I felt like I had in my life at that time

When Zack loses his headgear, be sure to check the refrigerator. That's where Johnny left his one time while getting a snack. He was so eager to eat that snack that he took the gear off on the way to getting it. Sometimes kids leave them on their lunch tray at school, too. I've seen more than one parent dumpster diving in the cafeteria cans trying to find them. Have fun, Dad.
Actually most kids here seem to like having braces these days. They dude them up with the colors of their favorite teams, and change the colored bands seasonally. I was very surprised about that.
