Oh, cushy Transbay buses, how I love you. No one believes me when I say that I now love my commute. Many of the buses on the transbay route, especially in the morning, are gleaming new coaches. They have only four seats per row, two on either side of the aisle. These are individual seats, not benches. They're padded and upholstered. They recline.

1. Interesting how people differ: I ate up Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell like it was birfday cake, while Tales of the City seemed all itty-bitty and persnickety and just left me cold after book 2. I know Strange is stylistically difficult, but I came to it with the advantage of having read so much Brit-Lit.

2. Way to end your post with a cliffhanger. Geez!
