A blank notebook

The trouble with a brand-new, blank notebook is deciding what to write in it, or if one should write in it at all.

That is a huge problem. I always want to fill it up as much as possible, so it looks like it's been worked in, but then I waste a bunch of pages and learn to hate the journal because of the mess. It's so hard to start a good journal outside of school.
