I again got up with the rising sun to set off on day three of the Route 66 portion of my road trip on September 29. Having a body on Central Time helped me get going a little earlier, and billeyler was nice enough to make sure I was packed away and had left nothing behind. What a great job you did with the photos in terms of capturing light and shadow on the formations!! Absolutely wonderful!

It was very hazy that day with smog coming in from LA and Phoenix, and I tried to clean the photos as much as possible. Still I am pleased with the outcome.

The pass I paid for is the only one I qualified for since I am not a senior, member of armed forces, or child under 12. Still, it was worth it for the amount of national sites I will see between now and when it expires.
