Back from Comic-con. We got the mandatory disaster out of the way early - we stopped at the ATM at the end of our street so I could get some cash, and I got my cash, but the machine ate my card. So I spent the trip mooching off Jef. We got into San Diego around noon Thursday, and basically spent all day every day at con with my 17-year-old

Did you look into maybe moving your flight up a couple hours? I guarantee we won't run out of things to do if you guys get here early. :)
