Boy, are we excited!

That's right... the baby seems to be both anatomically correct and male. Woo! Today was the scheduled 18 week ultrasound, but based on measurements, baby graduates to week 19! So the due date is now August 7. Yes, it's all very exciting.

How cool! You probably shouldn't let him skip 3rd grade though, unless he's really ready for it, you know?

Looks like he passed over Sweet Potato and went right to Mango, although with the news he's a boy, perhaps he should have skipped straight to week 20, when he's a banana.

Taking off my "I'm a teenage boy" hat now...

It's - erm, he - is always just shaped like a banana, so far. If they say "your baby is now the size of an orange, and he weighs almost one ounce!" that's a pretty good clue. He's a lot meatier at 19 weeks than he was at 13, though, so soon perhaps he will be a papaya.
