My friend JC had a massive stroke and is now paralyzed... =( -

My mom was released from the hospital tonight. She was moved out of the progressive care unit on Sunday and put into a regular room. She was also taken off of the ventilator and put on regular oxygen. Her lungs which sustained a lot of damage will take 3 years to fully heal. 3 years is a long time but i don't know if i said this already or not ( Read more... ) -

I cant remember if i posted this earlier but i found out what caused this to happen to her. She was infected with a deadly bacterial disease while working at her job. She came in contact with bodily fluids from another infected person and it attacked her lungs. She works with people who cant afford to see a doctor ( Read more... ) -

My feeling of emotions is starting to slowly return and i'm becoming depressed which is to be expected i guess. I'm just taking it all one day at a time. It's all i can do...

My LJ will be undergoing maintence these next few days. I'm getting a new layout, all entries are being purged and my friends list will be cleaned up. First i wake up this morning and my sister informs me that she is breaking out in a rash all over her hands. I had her stay home from school just in case it got worse. Gave her some medicine and sent her off to bed.
