Easily Amused
New show on tv this evening - Talkin' 'bout my Generation, a show that pits baby boomers, genXers and gen y's against each other. The first question was 'guess the pop culture reference of these t-shirts'. The very first t-shirt? A dalek. Both number one son and I got it right. He's ten, and I am so proud of him. :) -

Victoria Bushfires
The bushfires have claimed more victims, with 108 deaths as of 6am Monday, and predictions of more bodies to be found. Entire townships have been razed. This is worse than Ash Wednesday in 1983. ...it seems I have a new fandom. Or two. A friend lent me seasons 1 and 2 of Torchwood, aaand after mainlining both seasons, I think I'm hooked. I'm also going to be internet - less for about three weeks.
