It's been so long
I have been reading and commenting but not posting. I guess I feel like what is going on in my head is too much to type. And, I'm still so tired from my last surgery. My daughter had a setback this past weekend, my bowels are still mutininous, and my job while I still love it, is getting a bit annoying ( Read more... ) -
OWWIE!!!
Yesterday I walked further than I have since befoe surgery and went on a trip to the in-laws for dinner. The morning I awoke very sore and puzzled. After 2 dilaudids, 1000mg of Tylenol, and a few puffs of my favorite smoking material I felt better and realized why I was so sore. All the activity from the day before. Best day yet.
I started taking a vitamin with iron and a separate iron supplement on Monday after the doctor told me I should have been taking one all along since surgery. Funny thing is, they never gave me a vitamin in the hospital nor did they include the fact that I should be taking one in my discharge info. I had vowed to myself that I would do it on my own ( Read more... ) -
Abdicating my throne
I am getting better much faster than the last time I had surgery. It's is just amazing what a difference not being ill for a month before surgery has made. My pain level is noticably decreased each day and with a little medicine for loose stools I went from 20 throne visits yesterday to only 4 so far today. Sweet and sour dreams
I had to go back to clear liquids yesterday because i got a little back up, if you know what I mean. I am feeling better today but am reluctant to try solid food again even though the last 2 nights I have dreamed about all kinds of foods.
