I'm glad that I decided on the concentration in history as well as English. I think I really would like to be the cool social studies teacher.

This summer I'm working on my own knowledge of geography. I'm starting with Africa. It will be nice to have a visual of where things are on a map.

I've been doing the same thing! Namibia is above South Africa, on the... left coast. It's next to Botswana, which is next to Zimbabwe, which is next to Mozambique, which is across a little channel bit from Madagascar. Morocco is on the top, next to Algeria which is next to Libya, which is next to Egypt. Tunisia is also there somewhere. The Democratic Republic of Congo is in the middle of the country, and is several times larger than just plain old Congo.

I think you'd be a truly kickass social studies teacher.

OOOH! I'm finally reading Assassination Vacation. It made me think of you.
