Good gravy, is every movie that's coming out this year going to use the number nine in the title?  Granted, my pop cultural lexicon tends to get incredibly muddled on a regular basis*, but this just seems like a cruel ploy to completely confuse the hell out of the movie going public.

So I spent Valentine's Day in my pajamas, Lysoling my bookshelves, eating chocolates and watching "Must Love Dogs".

I am a dirty martini and a twenty dollar check for my niece's birthday away from being the youngest forty-five year old divorcee in the world.

Two days ago while I was walking back to the farm, a mother was comforting her obviously terrified toddler-age daughter, repeating over and over to the child "No, honey, don't worry.  They weren't dead people.  They were cabbages." 

Today I mailed the first of many student loan payments.
Fuck.  What have I gotten myself into?

I think that if I'm ever again in the position wherein I have to break with someone, I will do so simply by giving them a burned CD that has nothing but ABBA's "Knowing Me Knowing You" recorded over and over and over again.

Today I lost my keys. My father later found them in the vegetable crisper.

Apparently the only company that is ever actually going to pay me to do anything is The Henry Ford.

This is vaguely depressing, but it'll be nice to pick up a bit of an income again.  And learning to make butter.... well, it could be interesting.
