I started this blog ten years ago today!! And it has been nine months since I last posted in it, having abandoned it because I've been blogging as elin_gregory instead! I feel all guilty now.

Ten years ago I was writing fan fic, illustrating fan fic and and listening to Bach and Nickelback.

I was working in one of my favourite jobs, which sadly never paid enough to make it worth the commute, and living in a hideously complicated poly relationship.

Ten years ago I was finishing my senior year of high school. Insanity!

I couldn't tell you from LJ, because I didn't open an account here till January 2004... But ten years younger, working at the job that eventually nearly gave me a nervous breakdown, which I left in ... '06? This week, probably planning on doing exactly what I am now, which is helping with the scoring at the archery club's Good Friday Albion tournament if it was coming up to Easter; planning the April SWiGGLe (singing filk meeting) for Saturday otherwise. And possibly a trip down to Mum's, but that would have depended on work commitments then.

About this time ten years ago, I was running for my life with a two year old in tow, and starting the divorce process against an abusive husband. Dear goddess yes it has been that long. That little toddler is nearly thirteen now, and taller than I am! (not hard, I am only 5' 2")

Congrats on your anniversary!

I started my LJ in August of the same year, so I can't check my entries to see what I was up to. But if I remember correctly, I'd just discovered Snape/Harry fan fic and was in a very good place in my life. 2003 was a good year for me. From 2004 it all went downhill. ;/
