It"s over!!!

I happened upon the old PBS series "The Power of Myth" on You Tube last night and watched a couple of episodes. I'd reccomend anyone do the same.

April 23, 1971. I was drafted into the U,S, Army.

With forty seven years of hindsight, I have to consider this one of the top three worst decisions

I ever made.

It was ten years ago the United States began the war in Iraq. The past couple of weeks leading up to the tenth anniversary have produced some serious soul searching by pundits, bloggers, and writers examining their fierce support for the war at that time, and offering mea culpas for being so wrong ( Read more... )
