I don't usually do New Year's resolutions because I find the whole thing a little depressing, like, I don't want to put too much pressure on the year to be more awesome than the last incase it sucks. So far the work day is not too bad - that said, my caffeine intake has taken a steep increase!

Aren't shows like that just the best? I went to see Arcade Fire a couple years ago and their show was the same way, everyone jumping on each other and cackling while they mussed each other's hair. &bandswhoarefriends

It was HARD, but I hate it when I back out of doing something because I am scared.

Dude. You don't even know. At the show at the cafe in Canmore they had a break between songs and you could hear the milk steamer going and Jon Walker the drummer perked up and was like THAT IS MY FAVOURITE SOUND. I WISH I COULD LIVE IN STARBUCKS AND LISTEN TO THE SOUND OF DELICIOUS COFFEE BEING MADE. And I talked to him after the show then because he's actually from Toronto and just touring with the Zolas and has his own band but I forgot to ask about his band so I planned to do so last night and then when I walked in he was standing right next to the ticket table and he said hi to me and I FROZE. ARG. He is so precious! And now I still don't know!
