No one writes relationships like you do. I loved how young they felt, but at the same time how well they knew themselves and each other. And how that could be felt even when Brendon was anxious and Spencer was trying something new because he knew Brendon wanted it. The trust between them felt so real.

So, I adore this. First of all, THOSE SHOES. And secondly: “Are those mine?” Spencer asked, a little coy. I feel like I was holding my breath along with Brendon the whole time, and the fact that Spencer plays it so perfectly at this mark was just such a punch of relief.
