She stepped off the scale, disappointed. Even though she had lost weight it did not feel like a victory. Everything she achieved, every pound she lost, every "new" number on the scale she had seen before. I was quite bummed when I was eliminated from the competition two weeks ago. So I'll try again.

I'll most likely write about life in Berlin, the volunteer work in organising a festival which is fast approaching (waah!) and the neverending awkwardness of interacting with other humans.

A couple of months ago I saw a toddler and his mum on the street. The child was crying, I don’t remember why.
