How could Christians believe in the death penalty?

How could somebody be against abortion but for the death penalty?

This country is so full of bullshit. I'm going to leave here.

So? He killed 4 people, that gives you the right to play God and put him to death?? Aren't you a Christian?? I didn't know that you were allowed to be God. I thought that only God had that right. THOU SHALT NOT KILL, have you heard that before? It's not "Thou shalt not kill, unless that person has killed."

I don't think that we should be given the right to choose whether or not a person should die for something they did. God is the one who is going to judge him. And if he does get the death penalty, God will judge the people who made that decision too. That guy will get what he deserves from God.

And as for people who get abortions, you don't even want to get me started on that lol. But, I can't stand the people that stand in front of Planned Parenthood with their disgusting pictures or babies chopped up and harrassing every person that goes in there for other reasons. They don't want people to get abortions, and yet, they harrass the people that go in there just to get birth control so that they don't have to get abortions. They are a bunch of assholes if you ask me. grr.... And those pictures are really great for people just walking by with kids... or driving by.. scare the hell out of little kids or something.. bastards I tell you. Sorry I just hate that kind of stuff.

if you are going to say "how can someone be against abortion but for the death penalty?", ask yourself this, "how could someone be for abortion but against the death penalty?" flip it around and it's exactly the same. if you are against the death penalty in theory you should be against terminating a human life.

i'm not telling anyone what to believe- i'm making a logical statement. perhaps, if people thought logically for a change things would make more sense. if esterling is for abortion but against the death penalty then his statement that the gov. has blood on his hands is somewhat moot. he condones terminating an unborn fetus, but doesn't condone killing a convicted murderer.

and yeah, go leave with esterling, i guess, because you are a bunch of pussies. people like yoursevles are the reason why nothing ever gets accomplished or changed.

Yes, I'm a pussy. You don't even sign your name. By directly attacking me you only prove yourself to be a waste of my time. Get a life. It's very convenient to try to switch the debate from the death penalty to abortion. They are two very seperate issues, with many pros and cons. For example, I think that there are not many people who would disagree with a woman being able to take a "morning-after pill" if she was raped by a relative. But, since the Catholic Church has said that once the sperm hits the egg life begins, taking the pill would be considered an abortion.

Like I said, things can get very complicated. I'm not into forcing my beliefs onto others. Maybe that's why I'm a pussy? Or, maybe that's why I'm not a Republican.

sorry but let it had been one of your family members think of it that way =/ you wouldnt want him to live no one would im christian but god has given us man laws to follow too im not hardcore into the church but that is what i believe ! sorry hope i dont make anyone mad =(
