yesterday i bought dismemberment plan reunion tickets, today i bought a nikon d80. these have to be a couple of the best purchases of my lifetime. see you at the former, probably with the latter (if protected from the dancing by a nice case). i'm so fucking excited.

tonight at work i led paul newman, joanne woodward, and two other men to the most private table in the restaurant, and wondered to myself whether our being in westport makes this occurrence significantly more or less exciting. i could argue either way.

eugene mirman and demetri martin were two tables away from us late tonight at veselka. why can't i have real celebrity sightings like a regular new yorker? at any rate, the latter was wearing questionably short shorts.

people, how is it six and a half hours after the biggest travesty of all time, and no one's mentioned it?? i'm talking, of course, about the outcome of last night's project runway. i know i scamper off to work now with a heavy heart for mr. verreos. fuck you project runway ihateyou; long live project runway.
