Why does it seem that every time I looked at the clock tonight when I was studying, it was an hour later? I just studied for 2.5 hours...and it felt like an hour or an hour and a half......that's strange, and I'm not sure in a good way. I could lose track of time too easily this way.

I finally finished my portfolio for student teaching!! I've been working on it since...ohh...October? Anyway, it feels good to have it done. I decided not to proof read for the 10th time because I'm just tired of it. I'm sure I'll pass ( Read more... )

So I'm done with my elementary student teaching experience - it went by soo fast! Now I'm off to Ben Davis High School. I'll miss my students a lot, but I know I need to move on in order to learn more ( Read more... )

I suppose an update is in order seeing that I am over halfway done with my first placement. To sum it up, I love it! :) I'm sure this is not a surprise to anyone. I have successfully taken over full-time teaching K-5 for one week, made more than a few students cry (not really my fault), gotten a cold from my students, and started losing my voice ( Read more... )

I'm back from vacation! We went to Ixtapa, Mexico - it was a nice beach. It wasn't very tourist-y (so we got stared at a lot, but that's okay). I really enjoyed relaxing for a week and spending time with my host family. I posted some pics on Facebook: Leave a comment

Out of fear of not getting everything done I started being productive this week. At least for my class and student teaching, not for my PRAXIS exam (a teacher licensing thing) or senior recital...but that'll come. Spring break was awesome! We spent a week in Florida and then 3 days in the Bahamas (Nassau). The music we sang just got better throughout tour - I never got tired of it. I have pictures on Facebook if you want to see them ( Read more... )

I leave on our choir tour in about 7 hours...which means I'm definitely getting 5 or less hours of sleep...oh well! It's going to be awesome!!!! I'll post pics in a week and a half when I get back!!
