big decisions

i had my meeting with professor chenoweth, the chair of the education department, earlier today. i am now almost positive that i want to pursue a career in education. teaching is a great profession...good hours, flexible, decent pay, and it's just something that i know i would love doing. i can see myself teaching for many years to come, so that ( Read more... )

You, my dear, are a whirl-wind of things to do and decisions to make and I just have to say one thing: Slow down. Please. You're making me dizzy and if I'M all the way down here in Connecticut, I can only imagine how you are making YOU feel.

As for the career choice? I'd do English. But then, that's me. I always hated taking a foreign language. I just feel like you are a creative soul and you will only be able to thrive in a creative environment. Not to say that teaching spanish wouldn't allow you to be creative, but English would be more taylored to that. But again, this is coming from someone who hated her foreign language and shall never take a non-English-speaking class again. So don't trust me entire lol.
