So I'm fairly sure that no amount/combination of words will adequately explain how much I love this so I'll just point out some of my favorite things instead:

Sergio presses a kiss to Leo’s cheek and Fernando - Fernando, he feels - he feels something deep behind his ribcage give way. (This whole scene and the one where Sergio first comes in to see the kids... Perfection.)

“We’re old now, Fer,” voice soft. “You’re retiring this year and I’ll retire in a few - it won’t matter - no one will care.” (This line especially, but also this whole scene, is amazing. I love how bare Sergio seems.)

The letter broke my heart.

I love your stuff. ♥

confused about your author's note: "i want to preface by saying that this is really bad." um... hello? you could write a grocery list and i would read it.

this was heartbreaking, tender, subtle and about a million other glowing adjectives that i don't have the space to mention here. mostly though, it felt honest and real.

i'm always eager for fic from you, and this, as usual, did not disappoint. you're magic, estuve.
