Lmao what. Sorry, but Manga-Abyss doesn't own Pandora Hearts; if anything you should call all of us out for scanlating when Broccoli Books has got the license and it's their job. And by all of us I mean all three groups. If you haven't noticed, Storm in Heaven is scanlating it too. Why don't you go bother them? We're doing this because we like the manga, and we want to share it, and we're having fun doing this by ourselves because it's all casual. We're really doing this for us and deciding to share it with everyone else.

By the way, the declaration of "winning" was in no way gloating over releasing the chapter before Manga-Abyss. It was us celebrating because we finally got the thing out despite a lot of setbacks and staying up way too late, and because we're hyperactive nerds who are doing this for the fun of it. Give us a break.

Just to add some more precision, Storm in heaven dropped PH a long time ago ^^"
True MA doesn't own it, and it is licensed, they already took the risk of not dropping it but all the reward they get is having a newbie group trying to waste all the time they spent working on it?
"We're really doing this for us and deciding to share it with everyone else" is the reason you get everytime a new group pops up stealing other established groups' projects. Let me warn you that you will be very pleased once that happen to your group as well =D

So have fun scanlating, just try to understand that if you enter the scanlating world, there are rules that you're supposed to follow.

Just a question: are you speaking for them? It's kind of you to come and teach us the laws of the scanlating world, but "we're really doing this for us and deciding to share it with everyone else" pretty much says it all. If another group decides (let's use your terminology) to 'steal' 'our' project, then so be it.

Manga Abyss already released chapter 1 - 5. Have you guys consider their feeling when they work hard to finish other chapter when you guys just "cut" the line and straight release chapter 6? In my opinion this kind of action may/will anger them thou this is for everyone sake. For them, they will think that you guys are trying to challenge them for slow release. Have you ask them that your group are interesting in this project too and try not to compete with each other ( ... )

Though I'm not a member of the group and therefore I technically can't speak on their behalf, these girls are friends of mine and I think I can safely say that this isn't some kind of passive-aggressive attempt to "challenge" Manga Abyss. They wanted to do their own scanlations, and started with chapter six because chapters 1-5 were already out. It has nothing to do with "cutting the line," and everything to do with releasing the latest chapter because it only makes logical sense. Maybe they'll go back and do 1-5 when they have time, who knows?

I've seen scanlation wank before, and it's ridiculous every time. There's no reason to get a burr in your bottom because someone else decided to do illegal amateur translations of the same series you're doing illegal amateur translations of. Neither of you own it, and it's fair game for anyone who wants it. If someone else picks it up, so what?

Again, this is the Internet. There are no "rules" in the scanlating world. There's etiquette, sure. And maybe we broke some. But there are no "rules."

Also, by the way? We did this chapter in four days. Sure, it's not great quality. But we honestly did the best we could, and I don't think it exactly turned out like crap. And again, we're not stopping anyone from scanlating Pandora Hearts. You're accusing us of edging in on your territory, but from your little snitfit it sounds like you're the ones being overly competitive, not us. Calm down. People will download whatever scanlations they choose. It's up to them. If they like yours better, they'll download yours instead, and us taking on the same project won't change that. (Also, you make people buy the books and translate and all that? What the hell? We do this of our own free will, thanks.)

By the way? You just attacked a friend of mine. Call me biased, but I ain't down with that. Congratulations, you're banned.

I'm so happy to see work getting done on this series, forget the whole "Waaahhh" wank. I guess groups have their loyalists, but most people just want to be able to read manga and are grateful to whoever makes releases. Wish you all the luck with PH, and please know that lots of us out here will always be cheering for the small "indie" groups that work for the love of a project, not the love of their ego :)
