Wow, what a great story! It's so full of little character touches that ring very true and sweet. I really liked how most of the story is actually about Clark and Dick's relationship, all the quiet little moments where they build their parent/child dynamic. The last line is especially beautiful.

Oh, that's just a wonderful Bruce line, so dry and sarcastic and just affectionate enough. There are so many good bits of dialogue (I can't, for example, quote the entire costume-design scene, but it's all great) and I love your last lines in every section--they all have a nice quiet quality to them, reflective and resonant.

But I do know what you mean--I've discovered that S/B fandom has some of the finest commenters out there, and it's sometimes a challenge just to live up to the feedback! I'm sure you'll do wonderfully on anything you write...this story shows you to be a really skilled writer. I can hardly wait for more...
This story--where do I start? One of my favorites and summarily bookmarked. I could comment on every single line, so I'll take pity on you and choose a few. :) I love the idea of Clark and Bruce adopting Dick, and LOL at Dick scampering on the ceiling and giving his parents heart attacks! I love the Superman jammies, the design of Robin's costume (Sequined pants and pixie boots! I always loved that costume!), Clark channeling Martha, Dick emulating Bruce...it's all so wonderful, right down to Alfred kicking butt in a house where Superman and Batman live! Are there any more stories in this particular universe?

That it has turned into a whole fic is still kind of a shock!
Yes, there is more, but not yet posted, sorry. There are (sort of) two fics that I have partially written, one is a set quite a ways to this when Bruce and Clark are still getting together, and one when he's a teenager (though that one is currently only a couple hundred words long). Also, I'm doing the worlds_finest secret santa thing, and one of the fics I'm writing is set in this universe, maybe a month before this fic? It's after Bruce has adopted Dick, but before he and Clark have 'come out' to the boy.
