So I was supposed to hear about job today. I didn't miss any calls, and as of quarter to five (so I guess there could be something, but unlikely) I didn't have any email about it. I'm guessing they'd let me know if I just didn't get it... so I'm kind of confused.

Friday morning at 11AM I have an interview for a Fall internship at Houghton-Mifflin. And then I'll find out whether I get the Hachette job the week of Monday. Funny, there's also part of me that wants to take the 15 hr/ week internship and then get a 25 hr/week no-brain job. I can't even describe how obsessed I am with the trailer for Ang Lee's new movie, "Lust, Caution." It is so beautiful and SO sad and it's amazing how all of it is just right in there... without the use of any words.

Edit: The $450 apartment emailed me today and said the room had already been taken. The Brookline apartment was okay, but I should probably wait. MMfff. I keep losing earrings. Not misplacing them, having them leap out of my ears when I'm not looking. I just realized that I lost one of one of my favorite pairs of earrings, parrots that I've had since I was a kid, and I only got to wear a pair of earrings my parents got me in Jamaica twice before one made a break for it.
