There's a reason i hate the undead. I keep a wooden stake in my bedroom, just in case. i should get a baseball bat too. these are important anti-zombie tools. You all laugh now. You won't laugh when the zombies come. You better hope you're on my good side or i won't save

Clearly the rat brain parasites are already at work in you, reprogramming you to believe zombies can be overcome by a wooden stake. That's vampires you're thinking of, (and as Louis in Interview With the Vampire pointed out, most other kinds of people,) but not zombies. Only a shot to the head can kill zombies.

not quite... vampire tales from way back are mostly tales of premature burial and ritual, and vampires still have the use of their minds... in all of these cases, the subject eventually loses their ability to make conscious decisions.
