So I'm home again. I always am a bit down after coming back from a trip. Nothing really seems to have changed here since I've been gone. My mom is still ranting about crazinesses which varry from hour to hour; my job still is as unexciting as ever; we don't have on our air condidtioning even though it's fairly hot and rahter humid. It's my mom's birthday today. I would have forgotten had my dad not reminded me. Funny how that works. Anyways, I baked her a cake. It was a from-the-box cake and I was trying to be all fancy and bake it in a Bundt cake pan. So I took the 3 train to harlem today. It was pretty cool. There was this huge street fair/ book fair/ political solicitation deal going on at 135th street and there was a Starbuck's truck hading out free samples of their new green tea frappachino thing (it was pretty good).
