relationship question

.................random question for you all, is it normal for two people who are a couple and then split to be so pissed at each other that they have no hope of going back to friends? Or is that "arg i hate you so die!" kind of reaction the norm for broken couples?

Not that I'm a really good example... but the only people I've seen I've still remained friends with. Of course I'm and odd one... and mine didn't end on any sour notes thankfully...

i wouldn't say it ended on a sour note, more like a string of odd occurrences that ended with both of us super frustrated. Since then we are both so much on edge that whenever one of us tries to talk about what and why what happened happened the other takes it as an attack and we just fall into a bickering ball of shit. And it sucks since we both want to try and keep a friendship going. Even more since we cant give each other a lot of space since we are business partners. Blah

Hmm... I would say some time apart would be a good idea, just to help cool things down... but if your business partners... that definitely complicates things.

it kinda depends on the person. Personally, I'm still friends with all mine, but it can get really awkward. I also know a lot of people end up getting super pissed at each other and frustrated either because of jealousy, or just the weirdness of seeing the other person not with them.
