I agree with you Sgain, but do keep it level headed and rational. I've already seen reports going to the Earl Marshal about thta incident, so your letter will continue to back that up.
Last year it was 3 incidents that were sent to the Earl Marshal, and he also asked for my own eye witness accounts of it. Unfortunately 1 out of the 3 was due to a poor fitted helm which kind of invalidated one of the incidents.
As I understood from last year it was Kinto who was the wielder. This time Oak (his knight) was the defender of this weapon). It was rejected at AT war last year so I wouldn't be surprised if it was rejected again.
I posted a copy of my letter on the Island blue pages in the Combat forums. I think its pretty level headed, I didn't know about other incidents, though one person told me Kinto had hit him with a Stealth pike and knocked his helm back into his face real hard. I firmly believe if every Barony in the Kingdom refused them on their war fields it would be a non-issue. The fibreglass pikes are unsafe, but these stealth tipped ones are just plain dangerous.
I remember that shot at 3YC. I was about 10 ft away from you in the tournament of armies and I remember you running forward and then suddenly flying backwards, twisting in the air as you flew. scared the crap out of me. I shudder to think of the damage you would have taken if the force was concentrated into a tiny little rock hard tip. But I must admit my main concern with them is they seem designed to "ride up" the chest and punch into the throat. Having taken a really nasty hit there once I dread the thought of being hit there with force again. I really wonder why anyone would design a weapon whose purpose seems to hurt your opponent. whatever happened to the old saying that we want to kill our friends, not hurt them?
