“Atomic Twister” Does a bit of radiation make a tornado more destructive? Another candidate for bad movie of the week. Also, just like a man to suggest you need cable television, I do just fine with my books.
It's a long weekend (the Queen's Birthday) here in most of Australia, so Hallmark decided on "Whiteknuckle Weekend." There were killer locusts, schools of tiger sharks, the sun self-destructing and, in Atomic Twister, a tornado heading toward a nuclear power plant

I hope the atomic twister movie portrayed the situation accurately with the people in the plant sitting with their feet up laughing at the F5 tornado bearing down on them. The containment and controls buildings are built a little better than the average trailer park. Sounds great. Tiger sharks are not generally considered dangerous. Locusts eat plants, not people. I can see how all that would be hilarious. The things the movie industry does to try to entertain the masses seems to go to ever greater lengths of absurdity, and the public is stupid enough to buy that crap.
I’ve heard that Thailand is beautiful (except for the pollution problems) and the people are very nice to outsiders. Did you get a chance for sightseeing before surgery?
