I spent a rather interesting week, of wich had some highlights, and not so good points. I was dragged off to the property my parents bought and are now trying to form into a campground. This monday, I'm beginning classes again, but not in programming. I've taken up Pre-Animation to further my skills with what what I was usually doing in Maytang's boring cookie = datatype classes.

Early this morning my alarm clock started going, and I knew it wasn't going to be a good day, but nonetheless I needed to go somewhere. I don't care about much anymore and I can't find the motivation to do anything. My job is dragging me down and I can barely get myself out of bed some days. The only breaks I do get is when sleep takes me.

Apparently if it weren't for my boss, I woudln't have a job. He's pulled so many strings for me and helped me, it's crazy. He's practically the main reason why I want to stick around for that job, other than the work, which I really like. I just don't like how it's organized nor do I like the management above my boss. I hate waking up at 6pm thinking that it's 6am, worrying that I've accidentally missed my shift untill I look at my allarm clock as it finally registers that I've been mistaken. Of wich time I moan and fall back asleep. Rawr!

I'm at the tail end of a nice work week. 56 hours logged in thus far. And I'm only supposed to be a part-timer. That and I've become a hell of a lot faster at the work I'm supposed to be doing. Not that it matters because we've had one person quit on us and another leave for personal reasons, only to come back to finish off their two weeks notice. ( Read more... )

Seems like this time of year has flown by, not only because I've been busy as hell but also cause I'm nocturnal so days go fast for me. So far, this is the first christmas where the kids (my three siblings and myself) exchanged gifts for eachother and it was pretty interesting.
