Hmmm, haven't written in here for a while, eh? I am pretty sure the only thing that's "happened" since I last wrote was my weekend in Boston last weekend. Which was SO great, and I will get around to a journal about that soon--and I'm not just sayin' that, only to forget later, 'cause I already have notes typed up for it. I just need to be in ( Read more... )

A little detour back to the nest will do you some good...for a short while. Then you need to spread those wings once again! I miss you gals already too!

Haha. I haven't written in my journal since last year. ;)

Boston BMG meet and greet. Nice.

Nice lists. :) It's the simple things in life we treasure.

I'm looking forward to you coming 'home' so that we can hang out too :-)

And we'll have to ACTUALLY hang out this time... not just say we're going to... lol.

Good luck moving back home. I could never do it because my parents are crazy and they live in the country which would mean I would be on DIAL-UP(yes it still exist).

There are some advantage though and you named most of them. Saving money, not having to cook for yourself all the time, not having to worry about being the only one to clean up and do laundry etc.. It is said to say how much the internet drives me, but had my parents had broadband I may have lived with them for a year or so to save up serious cash to move elsewhere.

haha! dial-up. I could deal with that temporarily but it'd definitely be an inconvenience--mostly for if/when I want to do website updating 'cause there is a lot of uploading/downloading for that stuff, as I'm sure you know.
Yeah, fortunately my parents have speedy internet, and also a wireless network in the house--which is no different than my current setup. No sacrifices there... and at their house I don't have to pay $45 a month for it, ha ha.

It's definitely a good deal to be (mostly) bill-less for a while... I might be saving up for a couple items and trips before I am seriously saving up for the next big move, but that's ultimately the goal. I get along with my parents really well but I imagine after a year or so I will be more than ready to live on my own again. ;)
