How appropriate that while counting out my tips, cigarette hanging out of my mouth and muscles relaxed for the first time in 10 hours, the scene in The Blues Brothers where those brothers blue completely trash a fine restaurant played on AMC.

Liz and I talked tonight about legs. Very briefly, for only the tiniest fraction of the evening we spent together, but we talked about legs.
