But I admit, I did go away for a good long while.

In the time since my Mom died, I:

• changed jobs
• lived with someone for a few months
• broke up with the person I was living with
• turned 29
• added about 15 fandoms to the personal interest file in my brain (e.g., Lost, Sopranos, Big Love, Inuyasha, etc.)

for the support I've received from you guys. I'm okay. I'm surviving. I know it will always hurt, but I also
know that time will make things better.

I'm alive. My mother is with the Lord. My friends and family are supporting me. This is the way life is.

My mother passed away early Monday morning. It was a shock, as we did not know she was ill.

I'm doing my best to handle it, but it's extremely painful.

I just needed to "say" it out loud. My mother is dead. It feels very strange.
