I have made the 2nd step towards going back to school. I made my appointment to take the assessment test on June 10th. I got a few math books to help me out because that's my worst subject and I'm afraid of failing..
I've been reading them on & off for the past couple weeks. I will start doing it more & more as I get closer to my time. Yikes. -

Also I'm drunkish. I love weekends. They are the only thing I look forward to from my shitty job. Yuck. Yep. And I hate this LJ app cause it'll probably post this twice.

So things didn't work out with the house we thought we'd get in August. Friends dad decided to rent it to his nephew since his nephew was willing to pay $1300 instead of us agreeing to $1000. yeah, so i got my review friday, and to no surprise whatsoever got the absolute bullshit line of "you have reached the cap for your pay level; no raises except for inflation" WTF is that?? I asked the HR manager today what kind of documention exists for my job position that describes pay ranges and what the "inflation" bullshit meant. Guess what? ( Read more... )
