Note the hint of sarcasm in that statement. One word of advice. Do not give your sons a pocket knife. They will forget they have it and get busted for bringing it to school. Wow. How times have changed. I've carried a pocket knife almost every day of my life since the 7th or 8th grade. Back in the Jurassic Period when you and I were in school, they didn't care if you had a knife, as long as the main blade was less than 4". Andrew Pikus and I made swords in 9th grade metal shop, and the school knew! I still have mine too. :D

Sucks about the suspension though. :( Will it carry over to next fall? Might be a good idea to check... I seem to remember something along those lines, but that policy is likely to have changed as well, provided I'm even remembering it correctly.

No, it will only be until the end of the year. Jonathan asked the principal if he had to finish serving it at the beginning of school year but thank goodness he doesn't have to. It may affect his grades a little bit. Not positive. Been checking to see if there is any homework but so far nothing. The kids turn in their books at the beginning of this week anyhow. If he is boarderline in some of his subjects it may drop him down a grade. That will suck.
