Suddenly Last Summer review (well.. sort of) & The wonderful-ness that is The Gale Morgan Harold

Mar 31, 2007 17:05

Almost three (!) months after we've travelled to New York and had the incredible chance to see The Gale playing and meet him, I'm finally posting a big fat entry about it. Phew! Talk about procrastination. I wanted to write a post focusing on the play and the Gale to begin with, but I'll post the faaaabulous adventures of the Berry and the Kiwi, ( Read more... )

sls, gale harold

What a wonderful post, I'm so glad you got to have that experience.

I agree with what you said about Gale's performance as Brian. He's the one that gave us the Brian we love with his talent and complexity. With someone less intense as actor Brian could have easily ended up being a dumb shallow party boy.

I demand that he does another play soon, so I can see him as well *sighs*

I sincerely hope you'll have the opportunity to live such an experience next time he does a play! He needs to do another play indeed and go overseas (with Randy while we're at it) to please the European fangirls too! Everyone should have the chance to meet him, it's such an amazing feeling to be in his presence.

Exactly. I knew that Brian was such a fascinating character thanks to Gale, but I hadn't realized before how much he was putting of himself into the character really, and that just made me love Brian (and Gale!) even more than I thought I could.

i love this post so hard, omg. it's bringing back all these wonderful memories.

And my cheek and ear agree (probably Elz's and Lauren's would agree as well ;)) that his skin is wonderfully soft.
oh yes, most definitely ;) i still can't quite grasp the fact that we hugged gale. our bodies were touching ahdfklsajfl. WE HUGGED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAN EVAH, KTHX.

i love the way you've described gale and your experience, and the way you love him, and just, everything. it's awesome. he's so, attentive, and personable with his fans. his leaning down to hear what you're saying kills me. he actually cares, you know, and i love that.

re: gale's performance as brian, YES. gale brought so much to that role, i can't imagine anyone else coming close to what he did. he brought brian to life in a way that no one else ever could, and i will forever be thankful that he "fell out of the sky" :D

p.s. gale's eyes are hazel, which is a mixture of brown and green. that's why they appear to be different colors at different times.

Awwwww, your comment as well as Elz's and Ashley's make me so happy. *blushes*

It's awesome that we were able to touch his skin, for the whole week I would look at his beautiful face and wonder how soft it has to be, and he offered us the opportunity to come see, well feel, for ourselves! *gasp* We hugged the most beautiful man indeed (that so reminds me of that radio poll going on lol, he is the most beautiful man, he definitely is!!).

He truly does care. This is what touched me the most about him and what made that experience so fantastic. Not only was he the man we could have imagined but he was so much more than that. I still can't believe he would listen like this, taking the time to make everyone happy like that. I bet you can't say that about much celebrities.

Gale being cast as Brian is the probably one of the best thing that ever happened to us lol. No Gale, No Brian. No Brian, no show. No show, well no fandom and not us meeting. We owe it aaaall to him *grins ( ... )
