I'm thinking that as jobs go, mine isnt really too bad. Typical cashier-y stuff, decent pay, hot manager and free food. However, none of that takes away from the fact that it is, indeed, a job. I have never, ever, in my entire life had reason to be seriously concerned about my personal safety. I've never been really scared of another person, other than in a very distant 'i wouldnt want to meet you in a dark ally' way. I've never worried about walking to my door alone, or thought about locking my house. Its all rather not pleasant.

So for people who know the history of this: the fact that i have over the course of the past 12 hours become a material witness in the pressing of charges against my dear ex boyfriend for communicating threats is something beyond ironic.
