I need a better computer... I think I want a laptop and something that will meet suggested system requirements for many games into the future. I'll spend around $1000 but I'm not looking for the best possible setup... just a good deal for a good computer (and a laptop that I can improve upon in the future if possible). Suggestions?

1k isnt gunna get you far in the laptop world... most decent base models start at 12 or 13 hundred

I said around 1000. 1300 is about 1000 enough for me.

and laptops aren't the best choice if you expect to be able to upgrade in the future. they're made specifically for the aspect of mobility, nothing more.
