This Saturday the Strand is doing a literary festival, and they're giving away champagne and cake. If there is a heaven, I think this may be as close an approximation as can be attained on this plane of existance.

And curiously, dominonermandi posts some book memey goodness. And I even hate memes on principle, usually.

I don't think it's odd to love the LotR movies and not the books. The movies are awesome, pretty, grade A entertainment. The books are history class. ...except not even, because I LIKE history class.

Anyway. Sorry I didn't call you back, babe! I actually forgot that you called entirely. *slouches away* Life's been a little hectic. I'm spending the weekend and Mon/Tues with Daniel cause it's my fall break. I'll try to call you when I have some free time, love. MWAH! *hugs*

Nah, that's all good. :) I can't wait to hear about what's been filling up life to make it so hectic (probably conquering the Baltimore opera scene inside of a semester), but I can wait patiently until you've got a moment.
