This Saturday the Strand is doing a literary festival, and they're giving away champagne and cake. If there is a heaven, I think this may be as close an approximation as can be attained on this plane of existance.

This spoof TV ad just got a lot more interesting to me when I just read that the creator got fired over it.I think the ad is a lot more apropros than its creator actually let on in this article. So. It took until the last two days of January for the mountains of northern Pennsylvania to see an actual accumulation of snow. I was getting worried there. The roads kind of suck now, but it is pretty out.
