He stepped through the portal and took a look around. He wasn't all that pleased when the portal disappeared behind him.

A forest? Of all the odds... maybe if he was lucky, he'd run into Lady Lyndis.

Leading Naoko and Sukina back to his apartment, he absently held out a tome and walked through the now opened door. Pocketing the tome, he cleared a few books off the table and couch so they would have room to sit. Pulling up another rarely used seat, he stood, waiting for them to sit.

"Anything I can get you?"

...so Florina showed up in the Nexus. She seemed somewhat relieved to see me. I don't see why, we barely spoke in our time in the Legion, so to speak.

Sitting on the couch, Erk held his head in his hands. He couldn't believe that all of this was still happening, almost two days later. Several books were strewn about, as if he had tried to study and, for a change, neglected the books.
