how have i gone so long without listening to vaughan williams regularly? --- i find the music to be.... sublime.

..... however, i don't think that's going to pass for a thesis statement. nor will it pass as my stats homework... heh.

i've been sleeping too much lately. any suggestions on ways to get yerself out of bed in the morning? or snazzy alarming clocks? i've heard there's one that rolls around...

didn't pass my freaking qual -- also didn't fail. this was my goal, and expectation.

so qual results weren't out.

i just checked out three souls, er, i mean, theses, from the library. maybe i'll get some ideas.

and a play by tom stoppard.

in about five minutes, i'm going to walk over to L204 and take my QUAL.
that bitch (the qual) is going DOWN! **POW!!!**
